Meet Scott. He’s a devoted Christian, a loving husband and father, a Navy veteran, and a proud Texas A&M graduate. In short, hes one of the very best people I know. He’s someone who has spent his life serving others — and now he’s facing a challenge he simply can’t tackle alone.
Over the past few months, he’s been in and out of the hospital with severe and worsening nerve and back pain. He has endured multiple 911 calls, ambulance rides, powerful pain medications, and weeks of hospitalization at Baylor Scott & White as doctors worked to understand what was happening. He’s undergone MRIs, sonograms to locate deep veins for IV pain management, and consults with multiple specialists, including neurosurgeons.
Right now, the team believes a more targeted injection procedure scheduled for December 12th may finally provide real relief.
In the meantime, he was placed in a skilled nursing facility for daily physical and occupational therapy — something he needed, but that came with a hefty insurance copay. Totaling thousands of dollars, on top of months of missed work and ongoing medical costs. He’s doing everything he can, but the financial burden is simply overwhelming for their family.
I know there are people who would want to help if they knew. If you feel led and are able, please consider donating or sharing. Every bit makes a difference, and I know this family will be deeply grateful.
If you can’t give, prayers are just as important. Please keep him and his family in your thoughts as they move toward the next procedure and hopeful healing.
Thank you for lifting this family up in any way you can.
