On Saturday, June 10th, the world unexpectedly lost Kate Howard. Those words have been hard to come to grips with over the last week for so many who love her. Kate was a wonderful person with such a unique passion for life. Those that knew Kate remember how much she loved things like Alice in Wonderland, video games, cats, peanut butter, True Crime, laughter and dancing. Her spirit and energy could be felt by anyone when she was around and she had a way of making others feel happy and carefree. Some have described her as “magical,” and Kate was just that. She loved others so fiercely and had a desire to help others on their own healing journeys. Kate was kind, empathetic and supportive. Unfortunately, Kate oftentimes did not show herself as much compassion and understanding as she graciously and freely gave to others. Ultimately, her Earthly struggles were just too much in the end.

Many have asked how they can support the wonderful Howard family at this difficult time. With their permission, I have created this GoFundMe to help the Howard family with the expenses that they have recently incurred. Kate did not have life insurance, so all funds donated will go directly to Kate’s mom, Linda, to help cover the cost of her cremation. Please consider donating if you are financially able.
