Support the Toth Family in Their Time of Need

As many of you know, Ryan owned a very successful boot camp for over 12 years. Unfortunately, during the COVID pandemic, gyms were forced to shut down. Months without income and a lack of government support for his business during this time forced us to dip into our savings for bills and other necessities to stay afloat, ultimately depleting our entire savings. When gyms were finally allowed to reopen as they had before the pandemic, the damage had already been done; it was too late for Ryan's gym. Despite his efforts to revive it, he was forced to close the doors for good.

For Ryan, closing his business for good was the hardest decision he faced. It wasn’t just something he loved; it also meant our family would have to survive on a single income for several months. Ryan did everything he could to generate income, even substituting at the high school. Unfortunately, we couldn’t keep up with our mortgage payments, bills fell behind, and we faced the difficult choice of either paying our bills or putting food on the table with each of my paychecks. We began receiving letters in the mail notifying us that our home was in foreclosure, forcing us to make the tough decision to sell it for almost no profit before losing it to the bank. Any profit we made went toward overdue bills and the deposit on what we thought would be a rental for several years. That soon changed when we learned that our rent would increase to an amount we couldn’t afford after the first year.

We now find ourselves in an unexpected situation: needing to move out by May 1st at the latest, with no place to go and no money for a deposit for any available options. We require funds for the deposit and the first couple of months to secure a home. Most places ask for two months upfront, along with the first month’s rent, which we can’t afford in our current circumstances. If we can’t raise the funds, we could find ourselves without a home. This has been incredibly tough on my family, especially my three kids. We have exhausted all options trying to stay afloat this past year, and as much as we dislike asking for help, we are reaching out for any assistance you can provide. We truly appreciate any contributions you can make, and thank you in advance.
