Justice for Lloyd

OTPS is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization based in Paris, Kentucky that focuses on animal welfare. Our attention was drawn to a 10-year-old neglected and starved great Dane that was located at the Miami Dade animal services office. We recently reached out to counterparts in Florida to secure his safety upon intake. He is extremely emaciated and struggling to survive. After being in our care for 24 hours he’s been brought first to a local veterinarian who suggested he be transferred to an emergency clinic in Palm Beach County.

We are asking for your help to run the necessary diagnostics to determine what is best course of treatment is to give him a quality of life for the remainder of his years. He unfortunately is the result of a neglect case that we are being told was a revenge situation following a divorce. He was intentionally starved. While he is a senior Dane, we seek to give him as much time as possible comfortable and not suffering. The initial invoice from the emergency vet is $7500.

We appreciate everyone’s help. He still has a strong will to live, with a lot of fight for life left in him so we will fight for him and with him.
