Imagine you planned to start your day as always, have meetings scheduled, list of things to be done…and all that gets interrupted with terrifying sounds of missiles destroying everything around you, air raids, screaming and utter panic and fear of the worst happening right at that moment. The world you know collapses and overnight you’re turned into a volunteer fighter, medic, refugee…praying and fighting to stay alive. I can go on and on as this hits home for me and brings still fresh memories of what I went through in early 90’s. But today, this is Ukraine.

 

Even though it is happening in the heart of Europe, this DOES affects all of us in a different way. You and I are fortunate to be safe and we CAN help. I am asking you to consider donating to International Rescue Committee (IRC) that uses funds directly to support and assist displaced Ukrainian families. The same organization that provided safe passage to me and my family and arrival to USA.

If you have watched the news I’m sure you saw little boy walking miles all by himself crying and carrying his belongings, running to safety and unknown. Yet, he’s only one captured by cameras. Or the fact that Ukrainian mothers are writing their children’s blood type on their clothes. Let that sink in. ☹
