Help Save Our Baby Sister

My name is Ashtyn, I am the oldest of 5 kids with a single mom for most of my life. Our family has seen many many trials throughout our lives and it's come to a point where we are in desperate need of support from others. 

Every single one of us (especially the girls in our family) have struggled with depression and anxiety and suicidal thoughts and behaviors. It has been a battle that so far we haven't lost but my baby sister is struggling and it is destroying us not being able to help her. She has been in and out of hospitals and treatment centers recently as her struggle has become more than she can manage without more intense treatment. With our monthly rent being raised to almost double, ongoing dental bills, current church mission costs, losing a family car, and many other medical tests for another sick sister, we need help financially to continue getting help for my little sister. Mom has worked multiple jobs along with overtime to make ends meet and provide the treatment for my baby sister. She has had to take a lot of time off work for my sisters doctors and many counseling appointments which has cut her income. I want to help our mom by decreasing what is already emotionally and financially taxing. My mom is always first to help and serve and I want to help her!

Our baby sister is really struggling but is actively asking for help and really wants to understand her feelings and get necessary treatment to develop coping skills. She has been accepted into an inpatient and residential program that can save her life. One of her greatest concerns in all of this is the financial burden and stress her treatment will be and how it will affect the rest of her family. What she doesn't understand is that losing her is our greatest concern! 

I personally have struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts since my pre teen years and I am very aware of the struggle so many people, especially youth, are fighting. It is absolutely heartbreaking to see them in so much pain and not being able to help your loved one.
