Help Angie Beat Cancer!
Donation protected
After months of unknowns and various tests, Angie Dennis was diagnosed with a rare liver cancer in July 2021. Fortunately, she is able to receive treatment at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. We are extremely grateful to hear the tumor is operable after months of uncertainty! This surgery brings a lot of hope, but it also comes with financial strain. Donations would help support my mom and family with the travel expenses, loss of wages, and cost of medical care. Thank you for all your support and prayers!

Angie is a thoughtful partner, loving mother, and sweet friend. She has two daughters, one who just started college and the other who is applying to medical school. She also has a stepson who recently got married and has two children. She is blessed to be surrounded by her community of friends and family!
Back in July, Angie was diagnosed with a rare liver cancer known as fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma. There is very limited information about it as less than 100 new cases are diagnosed per year in the US. This particular cancer is caused by a mutation of DNA and typically affects younger people with a healthy liver.
The 7cm tumor was discovered after Angie had a bout of diverticulitis which led to a CAT scan showing Lilith the Liver Leech. Since then, she has been receiving care and treatment from a wonderful local oncologist and now, the team at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN.
Angie will be undergoing surgery at the end of September which will require an extended recovery time. After the surgery, the team will formulate the care plan for possible chemotherapy and radiation which may also take place away from home at the Mayo Clinic.
As a family, we appreciate all good thoughts, prayers, vibes, donations, and shares. Thank you for your support!
