Hi everyone,

My name is Christine, and I’m writing this on behalf of the love of my life Sylvia.

If you know Sylvia, you know she’s one of those people who shows up for everyone else first. She’s hardworking, a dog mom, and the kind of person who somehow still makes other people laugh even when she’s exhausted. Asking for help does not come naturally to her so I’m doing it for her.

Sylvia was recently diagnosed with triple-positive breast cancer. While we’re incredibly grateful that it was caught without lymph node involvement, the road ahead is still intense. She’s currently undergoing TCHP chemotherapy, with six rounds scheduled every three weeks, followed by surgery and continued treatment.

Chemo is not just physically draining it impacts her ability to work, earn income, and keep up with the everyday expenses that don’t stop just because life gets hard. As an independent hairstylist, time away from work directly means lost income, and treatment days, recovery days, and side effects add up quickly.

• Basic living expenses so she can focus on healing, not survival
