We found this sweet little girl in pretty bad shape at work. I rushed her to the emergency vet and we were able to stabilize her. We are two vet visits in and they have managed to remove all the maggots that had burrowed into her body, remove her necrotic tail, and give her a fighting chance at having a normal life. She’s got a few more vet visits and procedures ahead of her to make a complete recovery and will require special food and medication. With 3 cats and 1 elderly dog of our own, we need help covering expenses to keep this little one alive and well. My partner, Jackie, and I will be fostering her until she makes a full recovery and are asking for some assistance. Considering we were initially told euthanasia was a good option for her to now seeing her eat and play after surgery, we’re hopefully this little one will grow up to be a strong cuddly cat with a story to tell.
