Kevin and I are so fortunate to have welcomed a beautiful and healthy baby boy into our family on September 30. On October 5, we met our nurse, named Barbara, who has helped us with caring for the baby. Unfortunately, shortly after arriving to help us, Barbara’s brother in the Philippines fell incredibly ill and is on the verge of passing away. With a funeral pending, Barbara is being forced to choose between laying her brother to rest or sponsoring her children’s visas to the US, who she hasn’t seen in over a year.
