Hello, my name is Erika and I am seeking financial support to help save my sweet dog Lou’s life. Lou is a 4 year old blue nose pittie mix. She is a rescue dog that I adopted in 2019, after she was chained to a fence during monsoon season in Arizona. Since acquiring my fur baby, my life has been rich with snuggles, adventure, and moments of pure joy. Lou is an extremely happy go lucky dog who loves belly rubs and giving everyone she meets lots of kisses.

Recently, her energy changed and I became worried. After taking Lou to the vet last week, to treat what appeared to be an upper respiratory virus, the vet gave me news that Lou had cancer. They found a few mast cell tumors, one on her neck and two on her back leg. The vet stated that the cancer could be treated with an operation, however it would cost around $3,000 dollars. As a recent graduate, this is not a bill that I can manage to pay on my own while also making student loan payments. I am reaching out to any of you who know Lou personally, or any animal lovers, to see if we can together come up with the money needed for this operation. I appreciate any help you can give towards this cause. My hope is that if several people give even a small amount, Lou will be able to get the operation and her life will be extended.
