My name is Zamon aka Z-man/Z-mainey Zdazzle. I am an independent artist and I'm fearlessly positive about putting this fundraiser together because I need help finishing my album "Animal Slavery". I know these are incredibly hard and unreal times happening to us all, so trust when I say I'm right there with you.

I started working on this before the pandemic happened. This album has been in the works a long while now, but it also isn't just an album. It is a Hip Hop project about animal lovers and haters, veganism and environmental awareness. I've been a vegan for decades, so this album is a very important piece to me, and something I have never attempted before. I've always mentioned little things here and there on records, while partying and touching on other issues, but animals, and how they are mistreated and exploited has always made me want to take some sort of action. So I made up my mind, got serious and wrote an album about these issues.

You may not know what goes into getting an album out, so let me break it down. There is the production part, which my good friend Tahaj The 1st agreed to do. There's the art cover but that is taken care of as I paint all my covers myself. There is studio time to record the songs and mix them. And lastly, there is the marketing and the merch, as well as the special merch of my art work. Without touring or doing shows since March 2020, this has been pretty much impossible to cover myself.

This is an experience I want to share with those who know me and support my career as well as with those who are not familiar with me and my music. I have never done this before but I am excited about this album becoming the reality it deserves.
