Hello, my names Courteney and I am trying to raise money to pay for my cats unexpected vet bill.

Unfortunately he was hit by a car on Tuesday 6th January 2026 in Brading, the person hasn’t stopped or tried to help him.

He’s damaged his back legs due to this, he is currently at the vets having X-rays, bloods & various other tests to see the extent of his injury’s. Already having to pay £1,888.35 but have been told it could be a maximum of £6,000.

Mr Pickles has been with us since he was a kitten, he is 4 years old so to me still a baby. Him and my son has been inseparable since the first day they met. You’ll always find them two together causing mayhem. He is such a lovely and friendly cat who gives kisses and cuddles 24/7. Pickles will also walk my son up the road every morning when he goes to school and will sometimes wait for him where he left him until he gets off his bus.

Pickles is very known where we live as he enjoys scaring the local dogs showing them who is boss, the local children love him and are always stroking and playing with him if they see him.

I am trying my hardest to get my boys reunited.
