Help save Loki's life
Hello! My name is Jakob and I am 25 years old living in Sweden.
My cat Loki turned 1 years old on November 6th and on November 15th I took him to the vet for a health checkup because he was vomiting a lot and I thought it might be some intestine problems.
The vet visit went horrible, his blood work came back very worrisome and he doesn't produce enough red blood cells and the vet couldn't exactly pinpoint why. It might be liver issues, chronic kidney disease, kidney infection, cat anemia and a bunch of other stuff. In the gist of it, the veterinarian told me he is slowly dying.
The treatment to pinpoint this starts at 3500-4500sek (302-388€) with another 3750sek (323€) for the full body + kidney ultrasound.
After that the treatment plans I've looked into start at 25000sek (2160€) but go up with 10000sek for each subsequent day of treatment.
I sadly don't have this kind of money, and to save it up would take me around 5 months, which I don't know if he has. I'm asking for help in saving my best friends life.
Anything helps my little fur ball at this point.
I am also looking for treatment plans aboard as they might be cheaper, but the first step would be getting Loki a cat passport which is around 5000sek (432€)
I am thankful for any help I can get, both in terms of donations and in sharing this fundraiser. Thank you for taking your time to read our story.
