Horrific tragedy in a small Alberta community has taken the life of Hanne Meketech. A well known neighbour and friend to many, Hanne will always be remembered for her love of animals and her kindness to children.

I first met Hanne 9 years ago when we moved to the small town of Coleman within the Crowsnest Pass. She lived behind us and was over straight away to introduce herself and to meet our daughter. To us, Hanne was a strong independent women and it was nice having her as a neighbour.

I can not begin to fathom why someone would end Hanne's life. She was truely a kind sole and my thoughts will be with her for a very long time.

Hanne did not have much family and the family that she does have is now left with the substantial cost of a funeral. I would like to help raise money for the expense of a funeral sevice for Hanne Meketech.
