My brother Ivan was discharged from St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, FL on Wednesday August 16, 2017 after spending 75 days there. He suffered a traumatic brain injury from a motorcycle accident. He is currently on several medications and will need consistent at home care, medical appointments with four different doctors, blood draws, MRI/CT scans, and physical therapy until he is strong enough to live independently. Unfortunately he does not have private insurance and for now his Medicaid has not kicked in yet. It is still unknown when it will go through.

Currently our parents and I are personally paying for home health aides to assist us at home as well as doctor's appointments, medications, and the like. Our family is asking for any financial assistance that his friends and loved ones can provide. Whatever you can donate will be a great help.

I will be withdrawing funds from this fundraiser and use them to help pay for the aforementioned medical expenses until Medicaid comes into play.
