Because of the news article I want people to know im most likely needing another surgery I walk with a big limp and fall over sometimes. But I am strong we protect the people we love. Including our community. So anything helps previous is my past response was during recovery, but I love you all will do anything to save a live so thank you.

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share an update and say a huge thank you for all the kindness you’ve shown me. My surgery on the 31st went well, though it turned out to be a bit more extensive than the doctors originally thought.

I spent my New Year’s Eve with some amazing nurses who brought me ice cream just after midnight (followed quickly by a blood draw—talk about a reality check!). While the surgery is behind me, the recovery road has gotten a bit longer. Instead of 6 weeks, I’m looking at 12 weeks of strict recovery time. For now, that means no bending, twisting, or lifting over 10 lbs, and a limit of 30 minutes of walking per day.

I’m not out of the woods yet, but I am so grateful for the support that is helping me get through this. I can’t wait to feel "whole" again. Because I’ll be out of work longer than expected, the financial strain is still a heavy burden. If you are able to donate or simply share this link, it would mean the world to me.
