In memory of our wonderful mum, who had the kindest heart and a deep love for animals – especially cats. Parga held a special place in her heart, and during our many visits there, she would always take

time to feed and care for the stray cats she adored. We are supporting a local woman Julie in Parga who dedicates her time to feeding, neutering, and looking after these cats – a cause Mum would have wholeheartedly supported. Any donations made in her memory will help continue this beautiful work she cared so much about.

About Julie’s work-

We’ve just returned to Parga and, within hours, three cats were already in urgent need of veterinary care — a reminder of how constant the need is here. While it’s not always this immediate, this kind of situation is, sadly, not unusual.

Here’s where your donations are already making a difference:

Pako Tako – A sweet cat who often suffers from flu-like infections and stomach issues. He’s now receiving antibiotics and a parasite treatment thanks to your support.

Taverna Girl – A large female cat fed by the kind owners of a local taverna. She has mysterious sores on all four of her paws. She’s being treated with antibiotics and a parasite pipette, and if there’s no improvement, she’ll need blood tests to investigate further.

Tiny White Kitten – Left in a box outside our home while we were away — heartbreakingly, this happens far too often. One summer, two mother cats with six kittens were left outside our house in the middle of the night. This little one is especially small and fragile, with poor eyesight, fleas, and worms. He’s now getting the right treatments, special kitten food, milk, and lots of love. He’s already eating like a lion!
