Help Anita heal!

Many of you know my daughter, Anita Pathik, who has been on an 11 year journey through debilitating illnesses caused in part by Lupus, spinal fluid leakage, and multiple misdiagnoses and damaging medications and surgeries. Her challenges and setbacks have been almost overwhelming at times, having emotional, physical, psychological and financial dimensions that have reverberated through our whole family. The great news is that her spirit has remained strong, positive and resilient, with steady improvement for the last 4 years of the journey, and indications are that after one more surgery, she will be able to relaunch her inspirational ministry and healing practice. Last Spring she was about to do that and begin working with clients, but fell and broke 3 ribs, bruised her pancreas and then ruptured her intestine, requiring emergency surgery. Now healthier than she has been in years, she is facing repair of that part of her gut, followed by a few weeks of recovery before the relaunch of Power ofMyWay.com

Living on disability income has been challenging, and some upcoming treatments are not covered by Medicare. Donations to Anita's GoFundMe account will go to pay for those medical costs. If we exceed our goal of $2000, we would apply any funds not used for medical costs toward relaunching her business. She needs a computer, a website, recording and transcribing software, for example. If you are moved to help, every dollar will be deeply appreciated and will surely contribute to her full recovery. Her focus on the relaunch has given her fuel for this week's medical challenge, and there is a sparkle in her eyes as she focuses on what is beyond the surgery.
