I'm Samah Mathkour, a Palestinian immigrant in America, urgently seeking help to rescue my family from the war-torn streets of Gaza. It’s unfortunate that it’s come to this but I need your help, I'm reaching out today so you can help me get my family out of the active war zone in Gaza. The time they can communicate with me all they tell me about is the lack of hope and utter despair they feel as they wait to be killed next like lamb to the slaughter. Just yesterday, I heard my brother's voice for the first time in months, and all he could tell me was how he waits for the day they are put out of their misery. I can’t allow this to happen to my family.
To make this story brief here is a summary: After the evacuation order from the north to the south, my family became homeless and through news by those who stayed in the area we now know that our generational homes and businesses have been worn down to rubble.

They are now living in a refugee camp and they don’t have anywhere to live but the worst part is no where is safe. I mourn helplessly as I hear about the deaths of my cousins. All I want is to get my family out of Gaza before we have to mourn loss of another or even all of them, but unfortunately I don’t have the money necessary to get them out through the Egyptian border at the Rafah Crossing. Each person, adult or child, needs roughly $5000-7000 US dollars to get through the border. This was my last resort to getting the money necessary to make sure my family lives to see another day. Their situation deteriorates day by day. My father suffers from diabetes, others in my family suffer from heart conditions, and disease due to lack of hygienic living. Here are all my family members I plan to evacuate: My parents Awad Mathkour and Fatma Mathkour, older brother Weesam Mathkour and his wife Heidel Mathkour with his children Tarek, Sammer, Mohammed, and Sham, along with my sister Fadea Yacoub and her husband Ali Yacoub, with her children Adam, Asiaeh, and Omar. The situation is only getting worse day after day. For transparency on my family's evacuation from Gaza and to Egypt. Every donation, no matter how small, won’t go unappreciated and will make a huge difference to my family's safety. The funds raised will be used with complete transparency, ensuring that every dollar is spent on their safety. I plan to give this money directly to the Yahala Company in Egypt to directly provide my family the money to leave. We are deeply grateful for your support and anything you can do to assist us during this difficult time. Please share this your friends, family, colleagues, and anywhere you feel necessary to help us reach our goal. I give you all my sincerest thanks for anything you can do for us, as well as your willingness to stand with us in solidarity against this atrocity, we can make the difference that allows another family live to see another day of life! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
