Heya! i’m Finn (they/them) and I'm a 25 year old non-binary person living on Dharug land and I’m hoping to raise enough money to cover the remaining cost of my top surgery.

Top surgery has been at the forefront of my mind for the past 6 years and is the next step in my transition. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to have been able to access HRT and gender affirming care but this alone has not alleviated all of my dysphoria. This surgery will allow me to become closer to myself, lessen the physical and emotional discomfort I feel, and change my life in the most incredible way possible.

I am so so fortunate to have been able to save some money to help cover some of my surgery but this alone does not cover the entire cost (as it’s still not covered by medicare yet rip). Living out of home for the past few years, working full time, and covering the cost of HRT, gender therapy, doctors visits, and surgeon consultations has made it suuuper hard to save up so I’m turning to my family, friends, and community for support.

I completely understand that we are currently going through a cost of living crisis and money is super scarce for most of us and I'm super grateful for any kind of interaction with this fundraiser - whether it’s a donation, sharing this on social media, or even just taking the time to read this.
