My name is Emily and I'm a disabled artist and writer living with my cat Chopper in Austin, TX. Because of my disabilities—which include C-PTSD with agoraphobia, autism, kidney disease, and struggles with chronic back and joint pain—I'm not able to hold down a typical job. For the last few years, my only source of income has been my Etsy shop, where I make apparel, jewelry, and accessories for Star Wars and Marvel fans.

Due to recent health struggles and a waning economy, I have not been able to raise enough to pay rent for this month. My leasing office has given me until Tuesday 10/15 to come up with the funding or I may face eviction. I am hoping to raise the funds to make sure that we can stay in our apartment. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
