Help Sam with her medical bills

Dear Friends and Family

 

Sometimes, even those of us who are used to taking care of others need to ask for help.  Samantha (Sami to anyone who meets her) spends her days working as a nurse. No matter what, she’s always prepared to help those who are in need.

 

For the past two years, she has been working through her own pain while quietly monitoring a tumor on her pancreas. Last year, her doctors became concerned that the growth was showing signs of cancer, so she underwent surgery in December. Thankfully, the tumor was benign and she did not have any cancer! Sami, her husband, and her friends and family thought the worst was behind her.

 

Unfortunately, a small leak in her pancreas developed, which has put her back in the hospital for at least a week to fight a serious infection.

 

All her care has come at an enormous cost.  The bills are piling up, including massive deductibles for 2022 and 2023. Without being able to work, this is adding stress to her while she should focus on recovering.

 

Please donate to help Sami cover the medical bills and maybe even provide a small cushion for her to land on when she’s able to go home and takes time away from work to recover. We know that she wants nothing more than to get back to helping her patients, spending time with her family and friends, and going for long walks with her dog Benzo the Aussie.
