Sawyer Everett Karns-McManus

HI guys my name is Cailey and I'm asking for donations for my brother Nick and his wife Nyki to help allievate some financial stress as they lay sweet Sawyer to rest.

For those who do not know the story. Sawyer Everett was born on New Years eve and during pregnancy Nyki and Nick found out Sawyer had a pretty severe heart defect called Trunctus Arteriossis. Over the pregnancy they spoke to many specialists on what the outcome for this defect would be. Nyki and Nick prayed that sweet Sawyer would make it to a term pregnancy and at that point after delivery knew that heart surgery would be inevitable. They researched and held onto hope. After he was born he had surgery a little after he was born and got to come home!

Over the next 5 months he got to be home, but his growth had plateued and he needed to come back to the hospital for help growing in order to be ready for yet again another surgery.

After his second surgery Sawyer continues to amaze us with his strength and courage and continued to make huge strides on the path to going home.

On Thurs August 25th Sawyer went for a G-tube placement before home and unknown to what happened he went into cardiac arrest. He had to be placed on a heart and lung machine. Over the next few days they watched and prayed for him but on Sept 1,2022 Sawyer grew wings and took his flight out of this world.

I am asking for donations to help with funeral, medical and any costs to my brother and his family during this difficult time. Thank you!
