Dear friends and family, I never thought I’d write or organize one of these GoFundMe pages, but now I see why people do.

My family friend's house of more than 25 years at Riveredge New Jersey tragically burned down Saturday, May 27th, 2023 around 1:30 am while they were asleep. By the grace of God the family made it out alive except for their fur baby Souffle who have perished in the inferno. Their dad truly loved his fur boy, Souffle was there for him during his recovery period battling cancer. Souffle was a true hero, a guardian angel who woke up the family by alerting them of the fire but was trapped inside the blaze.

While the fact that they’re alive is the most important and material things can be replaced, this is the most heartbreaking thing I’ve had to see the family go through. There were many items that will never be able to be replaced, but I’d like to try and do what I can to make any part of this nightmare easier on them. Most of the locals know their house because of all the blood, sweat, tears & love they have poured into it.

If you know this family, you know that they have worked hard everyday for what they have. You’ll also know that they are the type of people who would do anything for anyone. When I say they lost everything, I mean they ran out of the house in their pajamas, no shoes, no phones, NOTHING. So, I’m asking for help for them.

We are asking for donations of any amount to help the Premon family restore their lives and return to some form of normalcy post-fire. Funds will go towards everything from buying essentials to helping rebuild their family home they have known and loved for over 25 years. We thank you in advance for any contribution you can make.
