Carson Elliott's battle with CDH

We are a growing family of 3 with 1 on the way. My husband is a firefighter for the city of Guntersville and with all the expenses we're going to have his pay check just isn't enough. We have Carter who is almost 20 months old and I'm 30 weeks pregnant with Carson who is battling CDH (congenital diaphragmatic hernia). Which is a hole in his diaphragm that helps him breath and also helps separate his heart and lungs from all his other organs. His case is more on the severe side since he has his stomach, intestines, and liver herniating through. Which has pushed his heart all the way over on the right side and has hurt the development of his lungs. When he is born they'll immediately stick a tube in to help him breath and he'll be in the NICU for two weeks then he'll have surgery to repair the hernia. If he doesn't seem to be improving they'll hook him up to a ecmo machine which works like a bypass machine for the lungs. We will be at UAB for 2 to 6 months possibly longer so anything will help.
