If you guys don’t know, my dad's a strong, hardworking guy who’s willing to do anything for his family. Sadly, he’s suffered a stroke and has been in the hospital now for 3 weeks and counting. His stroke started in the left side of his brain (Blood clot). Glady he stumped to the hospital in time. Doctors said he is one lucky man because the stroke he had has a 80%-90% death rate. Later on while recovering still from the stroke he had two heart attacks first one scared us, his heart stopped beating for the first time and later on they had to intubate for the safest option. Two days later they removed it and he woke up again and out of nowhere he struggled to breath causing them to intubate him again as the safest option. As if right now he is unintubated but they had to give him a tracheostomy and later on a surgery for his feeding tube. (All temporary).

During this time, we ask for support. This will help us with groceries and bills. We ask for everyone’s support while we get back up onto our feet, Doctors said he couldn’t work 6 months to 1 year. We don’t ask for much, even if it’s a phone call checking up on us (209) [phone redacted], but prayers will do for a full recovery for my pops. God bless you guys and thank you! We usually never ask for these type of things but this time we are in need to cover all cost we can cover mean while my dad recovers.

Although my dad may not really be the same. He would appreciate everyone who has sent him a message or called him. May God bless everyone.

Por si no lo saben, mi papá es un hombre fuerte y trabajador, dispuesto a hacer lo que sea por su familia. Lamentablemente, sufrió un derrame cerebral y lleva tres semanas hospitalizado. El derrame comenzó en el lado izquierdo del cerebro (un coágulo de sangre). Me alegra que haya llegado al hospital a tiempo. Los médicos dijeron que tiene suerte, ya que el derrame cerebral que sufrió tiene una tasa de mortalidad del 80% al 90%. Más tarde, mientras se recuperaba del derrame, sufrió dos infartos. El primero nos asustó: su corazón dejó de latir por primera vez y luego tuvieron que intubarlo como la opción más segura. Dos días después, se lo retiraron y despertó de nuevo. De repente, empezó a tener dificultades para respirar, lo que provocó que lo intubaran de nuevo como la opción más segura. Ahora mismo no está intubado, pero tuvieron que hacerle una traqueotomía y luego una cirugía para colocarle la sonda de alimentación (todo temporal).

En estos momentos, pedimos apoyo. Esto nos ayudará con la compra y las facturas. Pedimos el apoyo de todos mientras nos recuperamos. Los médicos dijeron que no podría trabajar entre 6 meses y un año. No pedimos mucho, ni siquiera una llamada para saber cómo estamos (209) [teléfono redactado], pero basta con rezar para que mi papá se recupere por completo. ¡Que Dios los bendiga y gracias! Normalmente no pedimos este tipo de cosas, pero esta vez necesitamos cubrir todos los gastos que podamos mientras mi papá se recupera.

Aunque mi papá puede que ya no sea el mismo. Agradecería a todos los que le han enviado un mensaje o lo han llamado. Que Dios los bendiga a todos.
