Dear Friends and Family,
We are writing to you today to let you know about the loss of our mother Dora Rodriguez. Dora passed at my home during the day on May 14th with her family by her side.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions this will be a small service, but still an expensive service.
We are absolutely devastated by Dora's passing and are struggling to find the funds to cover the cost of the service. Only 2 years have passed since our brother Julio's memorial services ( Doras Youngest Son) and that combined with the unprecedented impact of Covid-19 on our normal day jobs has made this cost impossible for us to handle on our own. Based on the invoice from the funeral home, $12000 will allow us to cover the cost of the memorial service and the fee for a small gathering to be held after the memorial.
We will need to pay all funeral costs by 5/25/20. I've started this fundraiser to collect donations for Dora's funeral service.
