First off, thank you to my dear friend Heather for shooting this beautiful interview with me and launching this campaign in her name! Gofundme only supports campaigns launched from North America, so I wouldn't have been able to do so from Uruguay without her help! Now on to the album!

Short Summary

My name is Eleuthera and I’m a Montreal-based singer/songwriter. I'll be in the studio shortly recording my second album: Crossing Over, a collection of healing songs inspired by the wild.

These songs speak of stepping into a new era, of healing and empowerment, self-actualization, shining our light bright, connecting to one another and the wild, so we can co-create a more just, peaceful world. If that brings you hope, this album is for you.

I'm over the moon to be collaborating with cellist Fili 周 Gibbons who I've had the pleasure of playing with for the last few years, and sound engineer Andrew David who recorded my vocal trio Fruiting Bodies album. They're both incredibly talented, and together we make a dream team!

Budget

Recording, mixing and producing: $15,000

Musicians: arrangements, rehearsals, studio time: $3,500

Mastering: $150 per song x 10 songs = $1,500

Album Artwork and Design: $250

Production (250 CD’s and lyrics insert) $1,300

Videography and editing: $2,000

Distribution: $100

Digital download cards: $100

Gofundme administrative fees (3%): $1,250

GRAND TOTAL: $25,000

If I'm not able to raise all the funds necessary with this campaign, I'll find other ways- grants, loans etc! It will all happen no matter what!

Gofundme n'accepte que les campagnes lancées depuis l'Amérique du Nord, je n'aurais donc pas pu le faire depuis l'Uruguay sans son aide ! Passons maintenant à l'album !

Bref résumé

Je m’appelle Eleuthera et je suis une auteure-compositrice-interprète à Montréal. Je serai bientôt en studio pour enregistrer mon deuxième album Crossing Over, une collection de chansons de guérison inspirées par la nature.

Ces chansons évoquent le passage vers une nouvelle ère, la guérison, l’épanouissement, l’accomplissement de soi, notre force intérieure, ainsi que les liens qui nous connectent aux autres et à la nature, afin que nous puissions construire ensemble un monde plus juste et plus pacifique Si cela suscite de l’espoir en vous, cet album vous plaira certainement.

Je suis aux anges à l'idée de collaborer avec la violoncelliste Fili 周 Gibbons, avec qui j'ai eu le plaisir de jouer ces dernières années, et avec l'ingénieur du son Andrew David, qui a enregistré l'album de mon trio vocal Fruiting Bodies.
