Where $1.2K Is Going 

We’re almost at $1.2K and here’s how it’s helping us survive and stay afloat: 

 Car Stuff – $300

 • Car insurance: $200+

 • License: $60 (renew to get assistance through the county to get Rocky’s heat and tires fixed)

 • Tabs: $40 (Rocky broke down on the way to MANGOJAM Vol. 2 but he’s back now — just needs finishing touches.) 

 Rent + Bills – $700

 • October rent: $600

 • Phone & WiFi: $100 

 Life Essentials – $200

 • Groceries, gas, and day-to-day needs 

Every dollar is going straight to survival. The remaining 3K of our goal will help with November rent while we continue applying for jobs and securing more stable income to get back on our feet. Thank you for being in our corner — it’s making a real difference.

We’re a Black/queer couple based in Minneapolis — a pair of passionate artists, musicians, and advocates doing everything we can to stay afloat through a rough patch.

I’m an autism behavior technician with over 5 years of experience supporting neurodivergent kids, and also a singer-songwriter leading my own band, Sol & The Resonance. My partner is a talented musician and tech-minded creative who’s been actively seeking stable work since being laid off. We both live with mental health challenges and have limited access to care. We’re fighting hard to stay housed, healthy, and hopeful — but we need help.

Right now, we’re facing overdue rent and an eviction warning. Our income has taken unexpected hits, and we’ve exhausted every option from assistance programs to temp gigs to community resources. We’re still applying for jobs and showing up — to work, to music, to life — but we’ve hit a wall.

Your support would help us:

• Afford groceries and basic necessities

• Access mental health care and medications

• Get back on our feet with stability and dignity
