My name is Kelly Austin im a Hairstylist from Joplin, MO and I'm seeking support for my upcoming trip to Cambodia with the Rapha House , an organization dedicated to ending and bringing awareness of human trafficking and sexual exploitation around the world , in Feburary 2016! During my trip to Cambodia, I along with a team of fellow stylists, who share in this compassion will be teaching cosmetology to young woman who are at risk of being trafficked or have recently been rescued! You see it's Rapha's belief that if you set these girls up with skills and a trade you can directly impact their future, and thus change her life! The field of cosmetology is an up and coming one in Southeast Asia, and by giving these at risk girls the opportunity to have the skill set to make a lucrative life for themselves we will be able to not only increase their self esteem but also insure that they have the financial means to provide for themselves and their family! As a fellow hairstylist I know just how amazing the field of cosmetology is and am more than ecstatic to share my experience and stories I have from my 10 years of working behind the chair! But I won't be able to attain that with out the help and support of you. I have a long way to go to reach my financial and my deadlines are fast approaching, I have to have my trips expenses by Oct 1st and the rest Jan 1st if you can give that's awesome! All the money raise is going for airfare, room and board for the trip! I thank you so much for your support and encouragement ! I also know that sometimes giving financially just isn't possible at this time, if you could share this with friends and family that would be amazing!
