Help Jessica Justice with Medical Expenses

Hi my name is Michelle Kushner and I am raising funds on behalf of Jessica Justice. Jessica is one of my very best friends since middle school and she is my soon to be sister in law! She is engaged to my brother, Aaron. They have had a rough year since Jessica found a lump in her breast in March 2021 and was diagnosed with triple negative aggressive breast cancer. Since being diagnosed, she has undergone chemotherapy, radiation, a double mastectomy, an infection, physical therapy and numerous other tests.

Right before Thanksgiving, Jessica started to have a pain in her hip. After completing  a bone scan and biopsy, it was confirmed that the cancer had metastasized to her bones causing 2 fractures.  During this time between Thanksgiving and Christmas, Jessica and Aaron were both diagnosed with Covid which caused a delay in being treated and completing additional tests.  After New Year's, Jessica completed a full body scan to determine if the cancer had spread to any of her other organs. Unfortunately, the results confirmed the cancer has spread to her liver.

 Due to the type of breast cancer Jessica has the treatment options are limited. She will begin another round of chemo in the coming weeks. She is also seeking alternate treatment options through a referral at UofM. I am raising money to help with the burden of additional medical costs and to help offset any costs associated with traveling back and forth to Ann Arbor. 

 

Jessica and Aaron are always willing to help a friend in need and I am asking on their behalf to return the favor. No people with hearts as big as theirs should have to go through this turmoil and if we can help lessen their burden in any way I would be forever grateful.
