For the past several years, I have been invited to travel to Vietnam and Malaysia to share my knowledge of printmaking and to produce new works of art. Based on these experiences, I have been invited to Indonesia for the Yogyakarta International Art Festival 2015 to be one of the two artists representing the US. The festival organizers are inviting 50 artists from 20 countries to create art, exchange ideas, and share experiences.
With the festival taking place Oct. 4 – 11, 2015, I am asking for your help and support to cover my travel and materials expenses. Once I get to Yogyakarta, the organizers will provide accommodations, meals, studio space, and transportation.
This is an amazing opportunity to meet many new artists, reconnect with old friends, and collaborate artistically with people from around the world. There is nothing like working side-by-side with people to truly make lasting connections.
As a thank you for your support, I will create three different images after I return.
For a donation of $25, you will get a small lithograph, drawn and printed by the artist, size 6 x 5”.
For a donation of $75, you will get a woodcut, drawn, cut and printed by the artist, size 10 x 12”.
For a donation of $150, you will get a lithograph, drawn and printed by the artist, size 12 x 14”.
