We were together throughout the escape; neither I, you, nor Nir paused for a moment. We jumped onto the roof of the jeep, hanging onto it to keep a distance from the terrorists. At some point, Nir said we were a sitting target, so we jumped off the roof and started running. Suddenly, someone stopped the car for us; the three of us got in the front. We drove a few meters until we reached a point where she wanted to get off on the main road, and we decided to jump out of the car. We crossed the sidelines, ran fast, and then paused; you were 20 meters away from us. We had to lie low, so we didn't know what happened to you.

After about two hours, we heard you talking to an Israeli car passing by; we shouted, but you didn't respond. You got on the car, and after 2 minutes, you came back and beeped, apparently signaling us to come. We tried shouting for you not to get on and come to us, but again, nothing. You drove north; we're sure of it.

זיו, חג׳בי, שותף שלי

היינו יחד כל הבריחה, אני אתה וניר לא התפלצנו לדקה. קפצנו על הגג של הג׳יפ נתלנו עליו בשביל לתפוס מרחק מהמחבלים. בשלב מסוים ניר אמר שאנחנו מטרה מקובצת אז קפצנו מהגג והתחלנו לרוץ. פתאום מישהי עצרה לנו את הרכב נכנסו שלושתנו מקדימה, נסענו כמה מטרים עד שהגענו לנקודה שבה היא רצתה לרדת לכביש הראשי ואנחנו החלטנו לקפוץ מהרכב. עברנו את השוליים רצנו מהר ושם התפלצנו, הלכת 20 מטר מאיתנו. היינו חייבים לשכב בשקט אז לא ידענו מה איתך.

אחרי בערך שעתיים שמענו אותך מדבר עם רכב ישראלי שעבר שם, צעקנו ולא ענית. עלית על הרכב ואחרי 2 דק חזרת וצפרת, כנראה סימנת לנו לבןא. ניסינו לצעוק לך שלא תעלה ותבוא אלינו, ושוב כלום. נסעת לכיוון צפון בזה אנחנו בטוחים.
