Zios needs your help in his fight against cancer!

Update

Zio is tolerating the chemotherapy well and continues to have a full check-up with the vet every month. However, we have some bad news. He has torn a cruciate ligament and is currently learning to walk again. Unfortunately, all the veterinary costs are piling up and we need support to enable him to continue living his life as before. We are so grateful for any small donation or if you share his story. Zio deserves to live and he still has so much zest for life, which is why we want to keep him alive at any price despite chemotherapy and a torn cruciate ligament.

Dear friends and animal lovers,

Today, I come to you with an urgent plea. My beloved cat, Zio, who has been by my side for 13 years, needs our support. Zio comes from Southern Italy, where we rescued him many years ago. Since then, he has become an indispensable part of our family here in Germany.

Cancer Diagnosis

Unfortunately, Zio has faced health issues in recent years, which have posed significant challenges for us. After numerous vet visits and examinations, he was recently diagnosed with lymph node cancer, spreading with multiple tumors. The vet clinic determined that he requires a lifelong chemotherapy.

Additionally, his teeth were so severely inflamed that we had to subject him to a risky operation.

Thank God he survived the operation well:

According to the vets, he can still live a healthy happy life for several years thanks to the chemotherapy.

But the costs for Zio's treatment are immense and, frankly, beyond our means. Therefore, I am reaching out to you for help. Every contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference and give Zio a chance at a longer, healthier life.
