Zion's College Scholarship

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved ANGELA DENISE JAMES, a resident of Roxbury, Massachusetts. Angela passed away on May 30th, 2023, at the age of sixty-three, surrounded by her loving family and close friends at Boston Medical Center.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to Zion's College Scholarship Fund, established in honor of Angela's 4-year-old grandson. Angela's last planned trip was meant to be a train ride to Washington DC with Zion, to witness his older cousin Amondi James' graduation from Bishop Ireton High School in Alexandria, Virginia. Unfortunately, Angela was unable to complete this journey with Zion. By contributing to the Zion Okani Anderson Scholarship Fund, you will perpetuate Angela's values of education, compassion, and community involvement, ensuring that her legacy lives on through her grandson's achievements.
