Zina's House Fire Fund
On the morning of Sunday, June 12, 2016 a fire took place in the upstairs area of my sister in laws home. The fire was a result of faulty wiring and the ceilings in two of the upstairs bedrooms collapsed and damaged 20 years worth of belongings, some with great sentimental value.
First of all, I am most grateful they were able to identify the fire in time and escape the house with no loss of life or bodily harm! The same, however, can not be said for their home. Sometime after leaving the property, my sister in law received a call informing her that the second and first floor had flooded as a result of the ceiling collapsing in an upper restroom. Dry wall and insulation from the collapsed ceiling clogged the toilet while causing water to continuously flow. Needless to say, this caused more extensive damage and will further prolong the process in which they are displaced from their home.
I know they are not the type that would normally feel comfortable asking for or receiving handouts from anyone. However, I feel the unexpected calamity they have faced warrants help from those who may be in a position to do so. Anything donated, no matter how great or small, will be appreciated and will be put towards getting them back on their feet. Please take a brief moment to share this with other friends and followers even if you are not able to donate at this time. Thanks very much for taking the time to read this!
