As we Know one of our friend and Junior from Nishtar Medical College  Dr.  Zimran Gohar (N 55) Got into  hit and Run accident In PA. USA. He is one of the most humble and respectful person I have ever met in my life. I know him since since 2006. I know his journey through steps to residency and then finally his Job as hospitalist which he joined less than a year ago. He was hit by an incoming truck while he was making turn on his right of way while riding a Bike. He has major Traumatic Injuries inluding multiple long bone fractures, Rib fractures, Spleen laceration, liver laceration, Kidney injury, Multiple small bone fractures, pelvic fracture.  He has undergone multiple organ saving surgeries as well as still getting more. He is still intubated ,Thanks to Almighty that he is intact neurologically. He still have to go through multiple surgeries and still in Trauma ICU. With my medical experince I know his recovery and rehab will take months.

He is father a of two beautiful children and has a very supportive wife who is with him in very thick and thin. We wanted to do this fundraiser to help his family go through this difficult time espeacily when he will not be getting short term disability for 3 months and long term disability  will kick in three months. Basically his family will be without any financial resource for 3 months. We want to help his family though these difficult times and coming months for staggering medical bills and insurance co pays.
