Hello friends and family! 

As many of you know Fernando and I have a dog named Ziggy who means the world to us. He is a Border Collie mix and is in his prime at 9 years old. Ziggy is very active and loves hiking, swimming, and will do anything to play with his frisbee. Recently on one of our many adventures  we noticed him limping. After several doctor visits we learned that he has torn his ACL in his back right leg. Because of the injury Ziggy is not only unable to enjoy his adored outdoor activities, but even everyday tasks like walking and standing up are a painful struggle. Most nights Fernando has to carry Ziggy up the stairs to take him to his bed.

BUT there is good news! Our vet has recommended repairing his ACL surgically, which will bring Ziggy back to his active happy self! That's where all my loving family and friends come in. Please help Fernando and I raise the funds necessary for the very expensive, yet unavoidable surgery. It is breaking our hearts to watch him limp and hop around in pain everyday. He is still so young and we want to ensure he has the best quality of life possible. He has brought so much joy to our lives. Please help us fix our boy.
