Ziggy's Eye Surgery

I found Ziggy in the middle of the road and a couple hours from death. Roughly five weeks old, both eyes infected, starving, covered in fleas— I scooped him up. He was given tuna and received hot compress on his eyes to remove the discharge. The next day I took him to the vet where he received fluids, antibiotics, eye drops, and a flea dip. Not out of the woods yet — I was instructed to take him home and wait for a “movement”. The doctor was concerned that all his organs weren’t “connected”. After three long days, Ziggy’s eyes were clearing up and YES never have been so happy to see poo. Finally, Ziggy was a functioning kitten. Sadly, over the next week Ziggy’s left eye endured another infection and became super inflamed. Alas, after a visit to the eye specialist, it is confirmed, Ziggy needs his eye removed. He is scheduled July 20th for surgery. Ziggy’s vet bills are totaling a bit over $1500.00. every bit helps and is extremely appreciated. Ziggy is vital to the Zpack and deserves the best life free of pain. From the moment I met him, he has been a fighter, a champ, and a huge inspiration. And not to mention, Zoltar’s BFF.
