Zide Door Church vs. Oakland Police Department

On August 13th, 2020 Oakland Police Department (OPD) illegally raided Zide Door - The Church of Entheogenic Plants. They seized $200,000 in cannabis and psilocybin mushroom products. These actions were based on false information provided to a judge stating that we are not a church.

Zide Door plans to sue OPD with a civil lawsuit in federal court based on our 1st Amendment rights protected by the Religious Freedom Restoration Act.

This will be a long fight, but we are not backing down. If we win, churches like ours will be able to open all over the USA, without the fear of being raided by local law enforcement.
