On Tuesday 7/4, after an uneventful jump our friend Zibby was making her final approach to landing when she was hit by a gust of rotors collapsing her canopy. She was life-flighted from SDC with a broken left femur, T8-T9 vertebrae, ribs 9-10 on the left and 9-11 on the right. She’s undergone 3 surgeries (2 on her leg, 1 on her spine) and is looking at an additional surgery in 3-6 months to remove the rod in her spine.

Zibby is already making amazing progress in her recovery, already talking about her big come back sometime next year! But like so many in our community, she was living, working, and breathing all things skydiving, so she needs our help.
