Help Zhytomyr get Critical Surgical Supplies

We are two nurses, one of whom is a Nurse Practitioner, and the other a Cardiac ICU Registered Nurse. Twenty years ago we left our home country of Ukraine and immigrated to Canada. Today, we are medical providers and active members of the Ukrainian community in Canada.
As care-providers, having knowledge and access to medical supplies are paramount to survival. Now, providing health care to those in Ukraine, like those residing in Zhytomyr, means ensuring they have the supplies they need. That is our goal.
Zhytomyr is located 150km southwest of Kyiv and, like many cities in Ukraine, is affected by the ongoing violence and bombardment. As the city is far from bordering countries, it faces enormous challenges evacuating the injured and maintaining medical provisions. Nurses and medical providers are desperately treating the wounded who are brought in daily with blast injuries, traumatic amputations, and other penetrating traumas; however, they are running out of supplies. Together, we can help Zhytomyr give their first-responders, physicians, and nurses the ability to save more lives by providing them with the necessary medical-surgical supplies.
The hospital administrators have shared a list of supplies in urgent need. We are fortunate to be working with suppliers who are able to provide the items at a reduced cost or expedite their availability. To ensure that the supplies are delivered into the hands of front-line responders in Zhytomyr, a volunteer from the Ukrainian community is flying them down once the supplies are gathered.
