Hi everyone,
On Thursday, July 9th, my family was on their way to Portland airport to meet me ( her daughter) in Disneyland for the weekend. On the way, their car tire blew out on the freeway and lost control, which resulted in their car rolling several times. My mom, stepdad, brother, sister, and my brothers girlfriend were all in the car and were injured. Everyone has been released from the hospital except my mom. She is still in the ICU. Her injures include a fractured neck, spinal cord injury, and a fractured rib. Because of the spinal cord injury, she currently has little to no sensation from her stomach and down. once she can breathe on her own and is stable, she is going to be transferred to RIO (Rehabilitation institute of Oregon) at Good Sam hospital to help recover and do physical therapy. My family is trying to raise money for her recovery and would really appreciate any donation! A little can go a long ways.
