It is with heavy hearts that we share that the Spencer and Mancebo family have suffered an unexpected tragedy, one which no family should ever have to endure. On November 13, their beloved seven-year-old son died after suffering a fall on Saturday, November 9. Although only seven, Kingston has left a lasting imprint on the hearts of all who had the privilege to know and love him. His mother described his infectious smile as one that looked like it was Christmas morning. His smile and gentle presence were a gift to all those who dearly cherished him, and his family made the difficult, but loving decision to donate his organs to keep his generous spirit alive.
Grieving the loss of a child is immeasurable, let alone having to bear making arrangements for a funeral and memorial service. Kingston's mother, Rossy Mancebo, and his father, Steve Spencer, our colleague and friend, are trying their best to make it through this tragic time. Financial expenses should be the least of their concerns. Whatever you can contribute will mean so much to this family. It is an unbearable thought to have to lay your child to rest, and whatever we can do to lighten their burden will be appreciated. It is important that we, their friends, take care of them in all of the ways that we are capable of. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers and thank you for your generosity with any contributions that you are able to give at this time. The family sincerely appreciates your kindness and sympathy.
