Hi everyone, my name is Symphony Cottman (Cameron). Whether you know me personally or are just learning about my journey, thank you for taking the time to read my story and for being here.
I am a biology major at Baltimore City Community College, and I am nearing the completion of my associate degree. In total, I have 9 classes left, with 5 remaining after this current semester — if I am able to register.
At the moment, I am facing a financial hold on my account due to an outstanding balance. Without clearing this balance, I will be unable to register for my upcoming classes, which could delay my graduation and academic progress.
Recently, I was unable to receive financial aid, and due to changes in government funding, the local scholarship program I am part of has not been able to fully support my education. To continue pursuing my degree, I have been working two jobs while attending school, with the help and support of both my mom and dad. However, with the current economy and my own living expenses, this financial burden has become overwhelming.
I am raising funds to cover my remaining tuition and school-related expenses at Baltimore City Community College, specifically to remove the registration hold, allow me to enroll in my remaining courses, and complete my degree without interruption.
This fundraiser is not just about finishing at BCCC — it’s about continuing forward. After earning my associate degree, I plan to transfer to Arizona State University to complete my final two years in Biology on the pre-med track, working toward a future career in medicine.
Any contribution, no matter the amount, will go directly toward my education. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean just as much.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for supporting my journey toward graduation and a future in medicine.
With gratitude,
Symphony Cottman-Cameron
