Hello, I'm Dorys Pita-Rodriguez and I want to share with all of you the sad news that my brother Manolito (Manny) has been diagnosed with cancer. He has been under treatment since September and is going to have surgery the first week of January. He is currently out of work due to all the different tests he is still undergoing and all the doctors' appointments related to his disease. Also, the doctors recommended him to relax and try to be very calm prior to his surgery so that the outcome would be very good. His prognosis is very positive, but still, he is going to be out of work for almost four months.

In the meantime, his rent, medical bills, utility bills, car insurance, and grocery shopping are going to keep coming every month, and he is not able to afford all of that with his savings and disability insurance, without his regular paycheck.

That's the reason I'm starting this GoFundMe, to help him cope economically in this difficult time while he is going through his surgery and recovery.

Let's help my brother in this complex time and also keep him in your prayers for his prompt recovery.
