This year marks our ninth annual holiday fundraiser for kids in need—something my dad and I started together. Many of you knew him as the man in the Santa suit, the one who loved nothing more than bringing joy to children who needed it most.

Last year, just before Christmas, we lost him. It was a loss that shook our whole family, and stepping into another season without him is been incredibly hard. But the one thing my dad taught me was that kindness doesn’t stop—not even in the hardest moments. .

My dad believed deeply in giving kids a Christmas to remember. Over the years, we grew this effort from donating toys to also helping parents choose gifts for their own children, and providing struggling families with food, clothing, and a bit of holiday relief. I’ve seen firsthand how much that dignity and support means to a parent. It’s something my dad was truly proud of.

So while my favorite Santa won’t be here in his red suit anymore, I’ll carry forward his kindness, his humor, and his Christmas spirit. I’ll keep doing the work he loved—and I hope you’ll join me in honoring him by helping families who need a little extra magic this season.
