Lori's Journey to Healing

Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

We come to you today with a heartfelt plea on behalf of our beloved Lori, who is courageously battling cancer. Lori has shown unwavering strength, resilience and a determination to conquer this illness. We believe that together, we can make a profound difference in her journey towards healing.

Lori was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in November 2018. She underwent chemotherapy and a double mastectomy with reconstruction. After two years of treatment and surgeries, she had been in remission. On May 23, 2023, doctors discovered a tumor in her upper right femur and hip believed to be bone cancer (metastatic breast cancer).

Lori is an extraordinary person (and nurse) who has touched the lives of many through her kindness, compassion, and unwavering spirit. Her infectious smile and positive outlook have always brightened the lives of those around her, even during the darkest of times. Now, it is our turn to rally together and provide the support she needs.

Facing cancer is an uphill battle that comes with tremendous physical, emotional, and financial burdens. Medical expenses, treatments, and additional care have put an immense strain on Lori's financial resources, creating a challenging situation for her and her loved ones (spouse and young daughter).
