Many of you reading this are wrapping up a summer that likely included precious time in nature. Hiking, camping, boating and simply being out in the woods - essential experiences for many of us, as we look to recharge and relax. Presenting opportunities like this to our urban students is one of the goals that we as educators at the World of Inquiry share.
For the second year in a row, The World of Inquiry Outdoor Club has the opportunity to step out of their comfort zone and spend a five day/ four night expedition at Camp Pathfinder Island located in Algonquin Provincial Park in Canada in September. Our students will return as stronger individuals-challenged in many ways and proud of rising to the challenges of a more simplistic lifestyle.
We all know that with a great experience like this comes an expense. This grand adventure is going to cost $300 per student and we plan on taking 36 students. We are asking the students to pay $150. Please consider helping us build leaders and strong individuals.
